In the early days of Cycle 2's release I was asked to provide a graphic for the demo team to wear during industry events and trade shows. Cycle was still considered a new application and we were trying to build some energy around the product's branding and concept — namely that it was a blueprint to guide your testing efforts.

Process work

I began work with the Cycle application icon at the center of a radial arrangement, building up a series of 'sci-fi style' divided concentric circles in my sketchbook. From there I took my idea into Illustrator for refinement and then imported that work into Google SketchUp to model the dimensions. After selecting the ideal camera angle and color palette, I moved back into Illustrator for final clean-up and print prep.
