Balanced

I was asked to provide a shirt graphic for the first company-wide in-person meeting under the new Cycle Labs identity. I wanted to emphasize the fun culture we share at work but do justice to the new mark and marketing message, all of which pairs quite neatly with a breakfast favorite – the pancake.

Process work

I didn't have a lot of time to plan for this project, but luck was on my side given I stumbled across this pancake concept pretty early on. I drew a few refined versions, scanned and enlarged the best, then traced and re-inked the final. From there I scanned into Illustrator, adding additional detail and color to create the final image.
